12/2/11 - Ruby Summer Interviewed at the HMMA's! Check out Ruby and Summer's interview from the red carpet at the HMMA's, where later that evening the girls won the award for Best Pop Song of the Year for "Mermaids & Poets".

11/21/11 - Ruby Summer Takes Home Major Award at the HMMA's! On Thursday, November 17, Ruby Summer was awarded the coveted Best Pop Song of the Year Award for the song "Mermaids & Poets". The award was given at the 2011 HMMA Awards at the Kodak Theater Complex in Hollywood. Ruby Summer also performed "Mermaids & Poets" for the sold-out industry crowd.

9/20/11 - Ruby Summer Rocks Out for The Seany Foundation! On Saturday, September 17, The Seany Foundation held its 4th annual gala, Celebration 2011, at the Birch Aquarium in La Jolla, CA. 8/24/11 - Ruby Summer and Louise Ashby Team Up in Malibu! On Sunday August 21, Ruby Summer performed songs from their forthcoming debut album with beautiful Malibu waves crashing behind them. Ruby Summer was there to help celebrate Louise Ashby launch her wonderful Louise Ashby Children’s Fund! The celebration took place on Sunday at the LPB Malibu Beach house, sponsored by Petit Ermitage. The Louise Ashby Children’s Fund launch party was a star-studded affair at which guests were made aware of what wonderful work Louise is doing to provide support to children who are going through serious medical and psychological challenges.

8/22/11 - Ruby Summer Teams Up with Beta Records TV for Sunset Junction Music Festival! In anticipation of their performance on August 28 at the 2011 Sunset Junction Music Festival, Ruby Summer visited the Beta Records television studios to film this promo. Check it out!

8/15/11 - Ruby Summer Hits LA! This Thursday August 18 at 8pm, Ruby Summer will be appearing in an entertainment industry showcase at The Renaissance Hotel in Hollywood. And on Sunday August 21, Ruby Summer will be appearing on the beach in Malibu for a very special private event-- the launch of The Louise Ashby Children's Fund.

8/4/11 - Ruby Summer Make Return Visit to Beta Records TV! While in LA last week, Ruby and Summer stopped by the Beta Records TV studios for an interview to publicize their upcoming appearance at The Sunset Junction Music Festival on August 28.

8/3/11/ - Ruby Summer & The Grammy Museum Together! On July 27, Ruby Summer performed at The Grammy Museum in Los Angeles for a group of aspiring musicians. After the performance, Ruby and Summer held a Q&A session for all in attendance.

8/2/11 - Ruby Summer and Music Connection Magazine Team Up for RADD! On newsstands now is Music Connection magazine's latest issue, featuring a photo of Ruby Summer announcing their appointment as spokespersons for RADD's My Safe Ride Home Program.

8/1/11 - Ruby Summer Rocks the House for Sunset Junction Music Festival! On July 27, Ruby Summer met with the media in Los Angeles and performed at The Sunset Junction Media Mixer in anticipation of a performance at the festival on August 28.

7/26/11 - Ruby Summer & the Grammy's Team Up! Ruby Summer has been invited by The Grammy Museum in Los Angeles to perform tomorrow for its Grammy Jam Spotlight series. Along with a performance, Ruby Summer will hold a jam session and Q&A.

7/21/11 - Ruby Summer to Take Over LA with Three Appearances on July 27! Ruby and Summer will be very busy girls next Wednesday in Los Angeles. Starting at 12 noon, Ruby Summer will be performing for their young fans at The Grammy Museum in downtown Los Angeles. Next, Ruby and Summer will tape an interview at the Beta Records TV studios in Hollywood. From there, Ruby and Summer are off to The Sunset Junction Music Festival press event in Silverlake, where along with sitting for interviews and photographers, Ruby Summer will also be a featured performer for this entertainment industry crowd.

7/12/11 - Ruby Summer Pic from The Mother Lode Fair! With the local Sonora newspaper putting the girls on the cover, Ruby and Summer were the favs of the fair.

7/7/11 - Ruby Summer Rocked The Mother Lode Fair! Ruby Summer continued their summer tour with a four amazing shows at this year's Mother Lode Fair in Sonora, CA, performing songs from their forthcoming album Mermaids & Poets. Check out Ruby and Summer on the cover of The Union Democrat Weekender newspaper.

7/1/11 - Ruby Summer Attends Sunset Junction Media Mixer in LA! In preparation for their performance on August 28, on Wednesday night at the Sunset Junction Street Festival, Ruby Summer mixed with fellow performers, industry execs, and press to publicize the show. Check out a pic from the event.

6/30/11 - Ruby Summer Performance for Rogers & Cowen Summer Concert Series Reviewed Here! On June 23, Ruby Summer previewed songs from their upcoming album Mermaids & Poets to an standing room only, industry-packed crowd. 6/24/11 - Ruby Summer Rocks the San Diego County Fair! Earlier today, Ruby and Summer made one of their dreams come true, performing for the first time at this year's Del Mar Fair. Several years ago, their mother Leslie performed at the fair with her group, and Ruby and Summer have always wanted to perform there as well. Check out a pic from the show.

6/23/11 - Ruby Summer Come Home for Concert at Lestat's! Last night Ruby Summer performed for their hometown fans. Among other songs from their forthcoming album to be released this fall, Ruby Summer played crowd favorites "Mermaid & Poets" and "French Kisses".

6/6/11 - Ruby Summer and RADD Hold Press Conference for Major Announcement! RADD is the entertainment industry's voice for road safety. Many fantastic artists are involved with RADD, including Paul McCartney, Aerosmith, Black Eyed Peas, and Justin Timberlake. Ruby Summer kicked off their involvement with RADD at a press conference in San Diego on June 2; the event was covered by seven broadcast networks in addition to several print publications. In addition to performing, Ruby Summer spoke about the important work RADD does in saving lives The June 2 press conference was the first of several scheduled across the country.

6/6/11 - Check Out New Ruby Summer Interview at Musiqtone!

5/31/11 - Ruby Summer to Perform at the 2011 San Diego County Fair! Make sure to catch Ruby Summer playing songs off their debut album Mermaids & Poets at this year's San Diego County Fair at the Del Mar Fairgrounds. The girls have two scheduled performances, June 24 at 4pm and July 3 at 5:30pm, both on the O'brien Stage.

5/31/11 - Ruby Summer Closes Out 2011 High School Tour With A Bang! For seven weeks Ruby and Summer traveled throughout California performing for over 75,000 new Ruby Summer fans. The tours final stop was last Friday at San Dieguito High School where fans were treated to songs from Ruby Summer's forthcoming album Mermaids & Poets.

5/16/11 - Ruby Spiro from Ruby Summer recently appeared in the French publication PURETREND. Check out the photo!

5/12/11 - Ruby Summer and Koffeehouse Together! This Sunday, May 15, Ruby Summer will be taking a one-day break from their 2011 High School Tour to perform at the Koffeehouse Afterparty. The event will be taking place at the world-famous Hummingbird Nest Ranch, which is located a few minutes outside of Los Angeles. Ruby Summer will be taking the stage at 9pm. Check out Koffeehouse.

5/11/11 - Ruby Summer Spotted By Coolspotters! Coolspotters, the online destination for all things cool, spotlighted Ruby Summer for their upcoming television appearance on Beta Records TV.

5/2/11 - Ruby Summer Creates New Short Film! "More Than You Know" by Billie Holiday with remix by Jazzeem. Shot, directed & edited by Ruby and Summer Spiro and filmed at a motel in Bakersfield, CA.

4/29/11 - Ruby Summer 2011 High School Tour Rolls On! Continuing to perform to over 10,000 kids a week, Ruby Summer gets some big buzz at a couple of recent tour stops.

4/18/11 - Ruby Summer Continues 2011 Concert Tour! Last week Ruby Summer made their presence very well known in California's capitol city, Sacramento. Not only did the band perform in front of over 10,000 kids throughout the city's high schools, but the band also appeared on the city's top-rated local morning show Sacramento & Co.; Ruby Summer performed songs from their forthcoming album and then sat down for an interview. Then, they were off to perform a concert in front of the state capitol. Ruby and Summer were thrilled to have made so many new friends during their stop in Sacramento.

4/15/11 - Ruby Summer to Perform at State Capitol! Due to the overwhelming response to Ruby Summer's television appearance yesterday in Sacramento, the band has been asked to perform this Sunday April 17th at 1pm on the steps of the State Capitol of California for Hands Across California. Many State officials will be in attendance while Ruby Summer perform their debut single "French Kisses" and other songs from their forthcoming album Mermaids & Poets.

4/13/11 - Ruby Summer Live Television Appearance Tomorrow! All Ruby Summer fans in Sacramento, be sure to check out the band performing live on Sacramento & Co. Along with performing their debut single "French Kisses", Ruby and Summer will sit down for an in-depth interview.

Currently, the band is on a six-week tour of various high schools throughout California (playing in front of over 10,000 kids a week). Subsequent stops include a performance at the HOB in Las Vegas, a festival date performing alongside Third Eye Blind, and a press tour in New York.

4/7/11 - Ruby Summer Produces Short Film! Check out Ruby and Summer's performance set to Noel Coward's "Don't Put Your Daughter On The Stage". The film was also directed and shot by Ruby Summer.

4/5/11 - Ruby Summer's Beta Records TV Appearance Announced! The Beta Records TV episode with Ruby Summer will have its initial airing on May 6th & 7th. 12/9/10 - Ruby Summer Invades Hollywood! Ruby Summer will be kicking off the new year with a performance on January 6th at 8:30pm in Hollywood at The Renaissance Hotel. Ruby and Summer will be performing songs from their soon-to-be-released album.

11/15/10 - Ruby Summer is in the recording studio putting the finishing touches on its eagerly awaited debut album for Seany Records. The girls have been working around the clock for the album's March 2011 release.

10/15/10 - Ruby Summer invades LA! Ruby Summer is in Los Angeles today for an album cover photo shoot. Look for a preview of the photos online very soon.

10/10/10 - Ruby Spiro of the band Ruby Summer performs at the 3rd Annual Everything Is Possible Celebration held at the San Diego Hall of Champions in Balboa Park. Over 150 guests were entertained by Ruby; the evening raised over $80,000 for The Seany Foundation and its fight against pediatric cancer.

10/04/10 - Seany Records recording artist Ruby Summer received a nomination today for a Hollywood Music In Media Award for their song "Mermaids and Poets", which will be featured on the duo's new album to be released in 2011. The awards ceremony is to take place at the Kodak Theater Complex in Hollywood on November 18, 2010.

9/17/10 - Hot on the Seany roster and already making waves, Ruby Summer makes an appearance on Cambio Style! Cambio is a new destination for all things cool, formed as a partnership amongst AOL, the brand strategy company MGX Lab, and the Jonas Group.
