1/23/12 - On Saturday January 21, 2012, Urbalist was a special, invited guest and performer at a private event at the art gallery opening of "The House of Arts & Games" by celebrity artist/painter Daniel Maltzman. Urbalist shared the stage with famed international recording star Won-G. An eclectic crowd of new fans were eager to meet and have their photos taken with Urbalist. Keynote Management, Seany Records, and Urbalist were honored to be part of this exceptional evening.

Last night, Seany Urban recording artist Urbalist attended the 2011 JHRTS Holiday Party, where a portion of the proceeds from the event benefitted The Seany Foundation. 11/29/11 - Urbalist Wants You to Know EKLECTIK! Seany Urban recording artist Urbalist has found a like-minded French hip hop group named EKLECTIK. This amazing French band has released a video to its moving song "Face Au Cancer". Its message is to "face cancer; don't give up please stand up." Check out the video!

11/23/11 - Urb Hangs with Eric Roberts at the HMMA's! Seany Urban recording artist Urbalist and Academy Award-Nominated actor Eric Roberts were captured backstage at the 2011 HMMA Awards on November 17 at the Kodak Theater Complex in Hollywood.

11/22/11 - Urbalist Lights Up Red Carpet at HMMA's! Seany Urban record artist Urbalist attended the 2011 HMMA Awards in Hollywood, where he was nominated for Best Hip Hop Song of the Year for his song "Chemo Begins".

11/14/11 - Urbalist Rocked the LA Prostate Cancer 5k! Seany Urban recording artist Urbalist performed for the crowd at the USC Institute of Urology on November 6, 2011 for the second annual LA Prostate Cancer 5K. Beyond the five kilometers lies the knowledge that the event served a purpose: to raise enough money to help in the fight against prostate cancer. With the money raised through the LA Prostate Cancer 5K, this amazing organization will be able to create new therapies, develop better screening tools, and ultimately eradicate deaths from the disease. 11/8/11 - Urbalist Sits Down with Leno! Yesterday, Seany Urban recording artist Urbalist sat down with Jay Leno on the set of The Tonight Show, where they discussed Urb's new mix tape release. Urb and Jay also discussed the amazing work Urb is doing with his appearances for kids in hospitals.

11/4/11 - Urbalist Rocks The Renaissance in Hollywood! Last night, Seany Urban recording artist Urbalist performed songs from his latest release at an exclusive showcase for the Hollywood entertainment community. 9/22/11 -Urbalist to Perform at the USC Institute Of Urology and USC Norris Cancer Hospital's 2nd Annual L.A. Prostate Cancer 5K Race! This amazing event is scheduled for November 6, 2011. Urbalist will be performing songs from his acclaimed album Cancerous Flow: Lyrical Journal. The 5k is open to all levels of runners, joggers, and walkers and will be held at the University of Southern California starting at 8:30am. 9/21/11 -Urbalist Performs at The Seany Foundation's Everything Is Possible Celebration 2011 Gala! On Saturday, September 17, Urbalist entertained the VIP crowd attending this amazing event to celebrate the inspirational life of Sean Robins and to continue Sean's tenacious fight and raise funds for pediatric cancer research. 9/7/11 - Urbalist Rocks with the Rhythm of Hope! On Wednesday July 31, Urbalist made a very special appearance on behalf of LOLLIPOP's Rhythm of Hope program. This special event took place at the USC Medical Center. The Rhythm of Hope program is an interactive music program for pediatric patients that inspires children to create their own song, including lyrics. The program takes place in a group setting in which patients are invited to become a part of the "band." The guest vocalist assists the music facilitator and helps in encouraging patients to participate by playing percussion and contributing to lyrics. The song is then performed by the guest recording artist or band and recorded as a keepsake of the event. To learn more about this amazing program, visit www.lollipoptheater.org.

8/15/11 - Urbalist Parties for a Good Cause! Urbalist walked the red carpet for the 5th Annual Walk with Sally Summer White Party. Walk with Sally was founded in 2004 by Manhattan Beach resident Nick Arquette to offer mentoring for children whose parents suffer from cancer. Arquette lost his mother to breast cancer when he was 16. Read the press release about Walk with Sally.

8/1/11 - Urbalist Lends Support to Sunset Junction Music Festival! On July 27, Urbalist made an appearance in support of label mate Ruby Summer at The Sunset Junction Media Mixer held in Los Angeles. The event was held to advance the word on the upcoming Sunset Junction Music Festival.

7/5/11 - Urbalist to Team Up with Lollipop Theater Network & Rhythm of Hope! On Friday, July 15, Seany Urban recording artist Urbalist will be performing for the Rhythm of Hope. 6/14/11 - Check Out Urbalist's Visit at Childrens Hospital Los Angeles! Yesterday, Seany Urban recording artist Urbalist performed for the children and staff at Children's Hospital. In addition to performing songs from his album, Urbalist shared his personal experience with the kids, relating his own cancer story and how he got through it by writing his music.

5/23/11 - On May 20, in his debut Los Angeles performance, Seany Urban recording artist Urbalist hit the stage with the Reall Deall Band and hyped the crowd to a frenzy while mc'n over the song "Return of the Mack"..

5/16/11 -Urbalist Now in LA and Hanging with Ruby Summer! Urbalist was in attendance on Sunday night at the world-famous Hummingbird Estate for Koffeehouse, an event that featured Ruby Summer performing during the afterparty.

5/16/11 - Urbalist and The Day I Found Out Together. Seany Urban recording artist Urbalist was recently asked by The Day I Found Out organization to share his story about the day he found out about having cancer. Hear Urbalist's and others' very moving stories.

5/13/11 - Urbalist's First Los Angeles Performance! Urbalist will be a featured guest performer with Reall Deall Band at Bogie's Bar & Lounge on Friday, May 20th. The show starts at 9pm.

5/4/11 - Urbalist Cross Country Journey Continues! Seany Urban recording artist Urbalist is currently traveling across America towards his new home base in Hollywood, CA. 2/2/11 - Urbalist Set to Perform Fundraiser on February 3! Seany Urban recording artist Urbalist has been tapped by the cancer organization Pennies For Patients to perform a concert at the Central Jersey College Prep School. Urbalist will be performing songs from his album Cancerous Flow: Lyrical Journal, with a meet and greet to follow.

1/12/11 - Urbalist presents Jersey's Finest Hip-Hop Showcase! Tomorrow night, join Seany Urban artist Urbalist, performing at The Crossroads in Garwood, NJ, along with Serious, Unknown, Dead Poets, and Dirty Mac. The show kicks off at 9pm.

10/4/10 - Urbalist is nominated! Seany Records announces today that recording artist Urbalist received a nomination for a Hollywood Music In Media Award for his song "So Many Places", which can be found on his new album Cancerous Flow: Lyrical Journal. The ceremony is to take place at the Kodak Theater Complex in Hollywood on November 18th, 2010.

9/20/10 - Seany Records announces the Urbalist Album Release Party/Birthday Celebration! Seany Urban recording artist Urbalist will be celebrating the release of his debut album Cancerous Flow-Lyrical Journal the night of November 11th 2010, at The Crossroads in Garwood, N.J. Along with the celebration of the Urbalist album release, all in attendance will also be joining in the celebration of Urbalist's 30th Birthday.

9/17/10 - Urbalist is headed for the radio! Urbalist has been booked as a guest on the November 8th episode of "The Stupid Cancer Radio Show". Urbalist will be speaking on the recording process of his debut Seany Urban/Seany Records release Cancerous Flow-Lyrical Journal. He will also be speaking about all the amazing work The Seany Foundation is doing in its efforts to combat pediatric cancer and about his own personal experiences as a cancer survivor.

8/23/10 - Urbalist, along with his producers 8th and Vertygo, is in Boston today to master his debut album with renowned mastering engineer Mark Donohue at Soundmirror Mastering.

5/13/10 - Urbalist is very proud to announce the signing of an exclusive recording contract with Seany Records. Urbalist will be entering the studio alongside producers 8th and Vertygo to begin recording his debut album next month.

The album will be called "Cancerous Flow: Lyrical Journal", which chronicles Urbalist's experiences as a cancer patient and, ultimately, a cancer survivor. The album will describe his experiences from day one through treatment- touching on his fear, despair, and also his determination to vanquish his disease.

The Urbalist journey through music will prove to be an inspiration for young hip-hop fans (and especially young cancer patients) the world-over.
